Virtual Fall Hike (pix)
This weekend, Mrs. Robb (and boy does she like being called that) and I took the dogs for a hike, to look at the fall colors here on the Western Slope of Colorado. It was too good not to share....

The aspens here at around 9000 feet have turned a perfect gold.

A few hundred feet higher, the tops were tinged with orange.

The dogs enjoyed the stop for lunch... notice Bodhi's backpack. I'd like to say he liked his pack, but I don't think he cared one way or another. And yes, it's a Kelty. :)

We took the opportunity to take a Christmas card photo. Not that we'll ever get it together to send them, or anything.

And yes, it does look like that in real life.

Cheers from Colorado,

Robb

1. Wow! That's gorgeous stuff!
Cute doggies, too. :-)

I love the mountains. I keep thinking that whereever I go from here, there have to be mountains nearby.

2. Thanks for sharing Robb
How perfectly gorgeous. The scenery, and your dogs. I used to have a husky\malamute -- the sweetest natured dog you could ask for. :)

3. So Colorado-y. Quite pretty, and what happy dogs!
I like your Flight 93 page, too. The arguments are very well presented.

4. OH!!!!
You are breaking my heart. I lived on the other side years ago. There is nothing like fall in the Rockies. Thanks so much.

5. Thanks and you're welcome
...and a :kick: for the afternoon city-dwellers. Once we get snow and the whole pack gets together, I'll shoot some dogsleddin' pics. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snoooow.... :bounce:
