My daughter and I are going to a movie tomorrow

what movie should we see? My daughter wants to see The Aviator, I don't care to see it, how can we reach a happy medium?

I wanted to take my daughter to the movies tomorrow, but I don't think she'll like "The Aviator" -- too old for her. Same thing with "Ray."

but this movie just not turn me on. Oh my gosh, probably used the wrong words here, it just does not appeal to me.

10. "Meet the Fockers" and "Life Aquatic"

To be fair, I haven't seen either of these movies, but they seem to me to be something a 24 year-old would want to watch, and I for one am dying to see "The Life Aquatic."

Besides, since I probably won't get to see them, I can live vicariously through your experience :)

Series of Unfortunate Events. It may be too dark of a comedy for really young children

Meet the Fockers looks horrible.

I saw the Life Aquatic and it wasn't as good as I'd hoped it would be. It was good, but it wasn't admission price good.

13. Meet the Fockers is definintely a rental; Streisand and Hoffman

were very good, but the movie just was weak. My choice would be "Million Dollar Baby", which I haven't seen yet, but really want to as soon as it spreads out to more movie venues.

15. The Aviator was pretty good

The movie captures the period of the 30's and 40's very well, the acting is superb, the political intrigue surrounding TWA and Pan Am keeps you interested, and it paints a frightful picture of Hughes's descent into madness.

The cinematography and directing is first rate.

A little long at almost three hours, but I was never bored.
