What are your quirks?

I have a prejudice against rounded numbers - anything divisible by 2 or 5.

I only set my alarm clock (when I set one, I don't usually need one, I don't like being surprised in the morning, I usually anticipate it anyway) at numbers ending in 1, 3, 7 or 9.

4. I favor my right side

So if I'm climbing/descending stairs, I like to end on my right foot. I also like to put on my right sock or right shoe last. My Middle School was a four story building, and I knew for each staircase which foot I needed to lead with - going up or down - so that I would end on my right foot on the floor I was heading to. That's carried over to living in the dorms when I was in college to the building I'm working in now.

I also like taking stairs two at a time when climbing.

25. i always blip the accelerator of my vehicle before i shut it off..

I was taught that when you shut your car off, that if you rev the car beforehand you would fill the float bowl of the carb with gas, making it easier to start the next time around. Of course, both of my vehicles are fuel injected, but I can't break myself of the habit.

32. That reminds me of when I bought my first brand new car.

I'd been driving a big old 1975 Buick Century, and I had to pump the accelerator hard to get it to start. When I bought my first new car, it was fuel injected, and I had to start it up with my feet outside the car to stop the temptation to pump the accelerator.

And, I still can't wrap my head around the fact that people seen in colour 100 years ago. Something left over from my childhood...I thought that because pics were in black and white, that people only saw in black and white. I have to remind myself about these things. :silly:

(doesn't matter what I'm buying...macaroni, windshield washer fluid, charcoal, deodorant)
I'll pick the one that is packaged in a blue container, because ...well, because it's in a blue container.
If two of my possible choices are in blue containers, I pick the one with the most blue (price is usually only a secondary consideration).
