god doesnt want us to put on this concert

alright, i dont really believe in god but we've had a hell of a time trying to put on this concert.

our village's recently formed young democratic committee has been planning a concert as a food-drive for the local food pantry. originally it was going to be at a church hall, but it had been booked for over a year by the knights of columbus and the church forgot about it.

so the principal said we could have it at school.

now its snowing like a motherfucker, and will be until 5:00 or 6:00; its going to be dangerous for 3/5 of the bands to get here, and most of the people attending. i'm going to suggest that it be cancelled. ive been itching to play a show but it wont be worth it if nobody shows up or if somebody slides off of the road.

for the record, we live in a village surrounded by rural countryside.
