2. I know, I question the judgement of a thread titled
'What is it with Men and Rape'. Sweeping generalizations help nobody.

9. What age?
When I was at school a sixth-former (17-18 year old) was in a relationship with the head of history; pretty much all of the other boys knew about it and thought it was fine. The school authorities found out when they had a fight during the day, at which point the teacher became 'ill' and left.

Now I'd have problems with it, but at the time I thought it was fine.

12. rape is the right word
although, if the youngster is willing, you can throw in the word "statutory" if it makes you feel better.

and why are you assuming that both parties are willing?
the thread starter didn't say anything about anything consensual.

13. If the teacher was a male and the student was a 14 year old girl
it would be RAPE, regardless even though she was willing!

14. okay. lets go through the 'willing' thing. I find that when they have
reports of female teachers molesting young boys, no one really gets too upset. Boys are somehow not being sexually exploited and manipulated and showhow, a lot of people, mostly men I will say from what I've read before, somehow think no matter how young the kid, they are making an informed consent here.

Twist that around. If it were a girl, 11-12-13 getting boinked by a 25-35 or even older MALE teacher, no one stands up for it.

There's a twisted sense of morality at play here and I hate it. Anyone in a position of authority having a relationship with someone in the subordinate position of authority is exploiting and if they are underage or even close to age, its still exploitation. All of the people who think Mary Kay Latourno isn't a sick bitch who raped an underaged boy should volunteer their own underaged daughters or sisters for the reverse. THEN tell me its okay.

Boys get hurt too. Rape is rape. They all need to be jailed for a long, long, VERY LONG time.
