Keph's "Eye of Horus." Does anyone remember when the eye had

a "sparkle" that Keph added. And when Keph turned the "light in the eye off?" I think it was after we lost in the Mid-terms or maybe it was during the Campaign when Dean lost.

I was just thinking about how much I loved that "Eye of Horus." I don't know why he changed it to the new Icon.. Maybe he just wanted to start a new cycle with this election.

But, I wish we could use it for awhile as a memorial to Keph...with the light in the eye. I think he would like that... The sparkle back because he's posting up there in the sky...where the pain is gone...

Do you have the exact image Keph used? I can't post things into messages (clueless with that) but wondered if Skinner could make it available just for us to use for a couple of weeks.

Would the image have to be "hosted" or something?

20. Ah, that's the version I shrank down to avatar size for him.

I see the original larger gif he used is also linked elsewhere in this thread.

That one you have in your sigline is 48x48, but the file size is just a bit too large for DU to accept it as an avatar. I did another version too, with some frames removed, that does work as an avatar, and is currently my DU avatar.

Anyone who wants to use it too is welcome to it.

5. If it has to be "hosted" some of us can't use it. Don't know if Skinner

could do a special thing just for a little bit with the eye so we could use it...or maybe he could do a box on the DU Front Page with a little memorial to keep up for a period of morning...with Keph's name under it.

I don't know...maybe you guys have some suggestions...

11. You don't have to have someone host it

Khephra's eye was a gif I changed it to a jpeg and now it's fine

Upload mine to you own computer ( use save as)
then follow instructions on the options/profile page for uploading a personal avatar

6. I think using The Eye for a short time

as a memorial would be a nice idea for whoever wants to participate. I also like naming LBN after him. I think Kheph would like that.
