Holy shit, a dream came true for me last night......

Have you ever seen a series of commercials on TV so TERRIBLE and bland or cheesy they make you angry? Well, for me it was always McCain commercials here in Canada....AWFUL ads. I even wrote and email to McCain once telling them their ads suck. I've met other people who right out of the blue have expressed the same feelings.

Then last night it happened.

I got to tell the man responsible JUST what I thought of his fucking ads.

I was at a pub with my landlord and a roomy and some of the landlords friends...one of them turned out to be a marketting guy for McCain's who had just moved home. We were talking and he claimed responsibility for certain ads... so I let him have it.

Especially one that shows a bunch of Italians sitting around eating McCain oven pizza talking about what it's like to be Italian.
"You're shitting on Italian culture," I said. "You really think an Italian grandmother would serve that shit to her family?"

It went on and on....he was gracious, I hope he doesn't see his ads as art...cause I shit all over them.

Man it felt good.

But these people are aware people with brains like you are at best 2% of the population. They'd rather sell to 98% of the population. So it probably went in one ear and out another.

8. Ads that piss you off

are memorable. They stick in your mind. Maybe you dream about killing their creator. In the ad world, that is success. You probly made the schmuck's day for him when you accosted him.
