1. And the sun will rise in the west?
Whaddya think?

If Moose brings his "A" game, Twins won't score more than 2 runs.

If not, then your prediction might hold true. But look for Giambi and Williams to justify their salary and position by bringing heavy lumber to the post season.

3. And George Bush............
will come clean and admit to all of his transgressions in a special press conference where the reporters will have unlimited time to question him, and demonstrators will be allowed in the Rose Garden so Bush can chat with them and hear their concerns. :eyes:

4. Yeah baby!
Johan Santana, Shannon Stewart, Torii Hunter, and Everyday Eddie Guardado will take the Yankees' lunch money and leave them in the dust like the pampered prima donnas they are.

Cheering for the Yankees is like cheering for Republican bankers.

12. Thank You

You're right, our bullpen has not performed well most of the year but if our starting pitching can go late into the games, I feel ok having Jeff Nelson and Mariano waiting in the wings......

13. Can't argue with Mariano -
but up till very recently Nelson hasn't promoted restful slumber for Steinbrenner.

Any way you slice it, this should be a good Division Series.

I'd be surprised if they even get a lead.

20. Says more about the Tigers than the Twins.
The Motor City Kitties were bound and determined to avoid the curse of the '62 Mets. They would have beat anybody, including the Yankees.

21. Ummm, that was after we had clinched....
There were almost no regulars in the lineup. For a better appraisal, look that the 9 (or was it 8?) game winning streak we had over the White Sox, Cleveland and Detroit to clinch the Central. We were the best team in baseball after the break.

The Yankees are tough, but so are we....

GO TWINS!!!!!
