HELP: Looking for a cheap and comprehensive video editing program.

I have a digital vid camera, and am looking for software to create movies that can be exported to a DVD. I want it to have a fair amount of features, but not too complicated, allow me to import external images and movies, and cost under $100.

Is there something out there?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

they're the makers of Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Photoshop.

I am pretty sure XP comes with vid editing

5. I dont know how much functionality you want but...

i have used the windows app to do the following:

1. overlay additional sound tracks
2. cut and splice clips
3. add titles and text
4. change speed

Pinnacle Studio is an excellent video editing program. I think the software itself is still only $100.

11. I really like Pinnacle Studio...

It took me all of about 45 minutes to create my very first DVD. The thing I like about it the most is the interface- very intuitive.
