depending on the storage card type you might end up with bigtime embarrassment. When you delete the pic the camera's software does that. But if you hook the camera up to a 'puter, especially Windows, the thumbnail image you see on the monitor is often the deleted pic. The OS deletes pics in a different way and it's only when Windows is asked to enlarge the pic that the most recent image is displayed. Windows hasn't been told to delete the thumbnail image that was there originally so it'll display the old thumbnail and only show the most recent pic when its code kicks in to enlarge the pic...don't lend the camera to anyone unless images taken on the storage card are...ahem...suitable for all.
