I like a 4-season climate the most.

3. The notion that Seattle is "wet" is a misnomer

Yes, we get a lot of rain, but so do a lot of places. Consider Houston, which exceeds Seattle in annual rain fall, but is also hot and humid. Few places are as beautiful as Seattle, which has a moderate climate and four different seasons.

I would call this Coastal, which includes all four seasons with tempered climate variations.

Just a biased opinion for you. :)

10. As I get older and creakier-- the more I realize--hot is good.

Hot and dry is *better*. Damp is getting to be not so good. I've been in Las Vegas and Reggio Calabria, Italy (which is a lovely place--cactus pears grow wild, the beach is unkempt, but gorgeous)--this is weather I can *take* Damp and raining and cold and freezing rain and shovelling--feh! And damp is *difficult* on my wavy hair.
