Spamming the lounge with a bunch of sex threads is not a very nice way to say thank you for all their hard work. There are plenty of porn sites out on the net, if that's what you want - and if you just want to go act like little kids then go find a sandbox. Please, be nice to the mods.

Daring the mods, especially the evening mods, to lock threads is like calling the mods out. It's seeing how far you can push it. It's antagonistic.

It also disrupts the mods from doing other things they could be doing...like sleeping.

This is a place where adults interact. Most of the threads I see locked have nothing to do with sex - except where it is perceived to be about sex.

16. The rules are pretty clear

But the main thing that was happening tonight was people posting simply to get a rise out of the moderators. If there was a thread locked that shouldn't have been, just post a question about it in the Ask the Admins forum.

Trust me, the mods do not like having to decide if a post violates the "no sex threads" rule, because its often a fine line.

And most of them were innocuous at best - and you would have to try real hard to make them "Sex" threads. But locked they were.

I guess my perception of what is a "sex" thread is quite different from some of the mods here.

The thing is it is very subjective - what is a "sex" thread and what is not. What might offend you would probably leave me in a fit of giggles. So no matter what the rules - it's still a very personal decision about what gets locked and what does not.

If some are truly offended by these things why can't we have an *adult* room?? that way you know when you got there it will be adult in nature - so no surprises.

Really ladys & germs be cool I believe the lounge was a place to blow off steam when everyone was working so hard for the elections.the point being that maybe this place should be more of a familly show,no not a 700 club show but we do have to self edit every once in a while or the mods get over worked .
