2. Rubber duckie, joy of joys...
When I squeeze you, you make noise!!

Rubber duckie, I'm awfully fond of you!

Doo doo doo, be doo!

I owned "Big Bird Sings" on vinyl as a kid and "Rubber Duckie" was definitely the best cut on that album.

3. Another Joe Raposo classic
He also wrote "Being Green," the Sesame St. theme song and a million other songs for the show, as well as half a Sinatra album and a lot of other stuff. Sweet guy--I knew him quite closely, as he was the manager/producer of my band back in the day. Died a long time back of lymphoma--something I found out to my eternal regret only long after the band had broken up and I was no longer in touch with him.

6. Since we have both verses,
the bridge:

Everyday when I
Make my way to the tu-bby,
I see a
Little fella who's
Cute and yellow and chu-bby,
bo-be-dop-bo-bo...

7. The original or the remake?
Yeah, they remade Rubber Ducky. Ernie looked different too, obviously they had a new streamlined puppet for the hand...

The only thing that makes bathtime fun is one's sex buddy/spouse/whatever. :P

9. Dern...there for a second I thought you were serenading me.
Obviously this is my favorite childhood memory of Sesame Street. This guy in High school sat in a big metal tub and sang this song for a talent show for "Mr. Spring Fling." This Drama club thing the guys did my sophomore year. It was great...and he won.
