as we were discussing whatever might prompt someone to purchase a Hummer. I know this, because yesterday, as I was taking him to his Cub Scout meeting, we had to stop at a local craft store to get a few things to get his car ready for the upcoming Pinewood Derby. In the parking lot we encountered a Hummer parked diagonally across two spaces. After finally finding a space for our vehicle, we got out and headed into the store, passing the Hummer on the way. My young one was looking at it as we passed (worthless as they are, the big SOBs are eye-catching). As luck would have it, the owner came out of an adjoining store at that instant, accompanied by his trophy wife or girl friend. Mistaking our attention for admiration, her pointed to the H2 logo and asked my son, "Do you know what that stands for, little fella?" Without missing a beat, my little guy replied, "That means you have a teeny, tiny, dick." I guess it could have gotten ugly, but not only was I laughing my ass off, so was his female companion. He just stood there for a minute, then turned and got into his monstrosity. The woman winked at my little boy before joining him, and they roared off. I guess my wife and I need to be more circumspect in our pillow talk, but damn, that was funny!
