Sig line help
How do you make a hot link in a sig line? I'm not sure whether to use <> brackets or [] brackets. Just making sure before I add a sig line. Thanks.

2. I believe for sig lines
Edited on Wed Oct-01-03 02:27 AM by Kennethken
you use "real" HTML tags - < >
for everything else, you use DU html tags < >
- edit: Du is making both sets of tags look the same - not me

but it doesn't matter, sig lines kind of get stored, so if it's wrong at one point, and you change it, it will show as correct where it was previously wrong.

when you eventually do add a sig line, it will show up in the post you did asking about sig lines.

I clicked on one of your links - it didn't take me to a real page, but it did "go" somewhere.

10. Here's what I'm trying to do...
I'm trying to make a text link (for example "Page Name") encased in tags to make the text "Page Name" a hot link, rather than making the actual url address the hot link. Am I making any sense?

I used to know how to do that.

I don't now.

OK !

Now I have it again.

use brackets rather than lt gt symbols
then it's open bracket A HREF="http:\\website.com.html" close bracket
name you want to show (I used "link")
open bracket /A close bracket
