What does this mean

when DU says some forums are currently unavailable, level 1, 2 etc. What exactly do the different levels mean?

1. Traffic and Features.

The higher the number, the more traffic is flooding the site, and thus the more features (signatures, post tracking) are disabled to keep the site functional.

2. I know that level one means there are no sig lines and

you can't do advanced searches. I think level four is when you lose any ability to search and the icons for profiles, ignore, etc. disappear. Somewhere inbetween those two, you lose your avatar.
