Is it possible to un-dry a marshmallow?

I found some old marshmallows in a cupboard. But they're all hard.

Is it possible to make them moist and chewy like they once were. or do I have to wait until March in order to get some new ones?

It works for brown sugar; it might work with marshmallows.

4. Don't put them in the microwave...

You may think it is fun to watch them puff up and melt but once the marshmallow "goo" hardens you could substitute it for brick mortar. Not fun to scrape out of your microwave...trust me!

we were in High School and had nothing better to do with a Saturday night we spent 2 hours scraping yellow cement out of her microwave...needless to say her parents weren't very happy and was an actual accomplice to a 17 year old getting put on microwave probation!
