For both of these shows there were promos which suggested that a member of the cast was going to be killed off. Blond female detective on NYPD Blue and Abby, nurse played by Maura Tierney on ER.
But they weren't killed off or even hurt. I find that I am feeling a little manipulated.... anyone else?

TV promos are misleading now??? I swear if I was a little more stronger willed I would give up on tv all together!

and I've been watching these two for years. I would watch the shows without the promos but I hate being lied to!
