The Winona Ryder/Daniel Day Lewis version from '96 or so.
I've always kind of liked it for some odd reason, but it'd been years since I'd seen it (oddly it's not available for rent via Netflix, I had to spend $10.00 to buy it. . . I thought it was strange that Netflix didn't have it).
Anyway, my point is this . . . I am a good way through the movie, all the witch trials are going on, etc. and the main judge in charge of the case is yelling back and forth with Daniel Day Lewis' character and tells him: "You are either with this court or against it, there is no middle ground here." (or very similar words to that effect).
I thought it was very interesting to hear the leader of a the witch trials in a play designed to criticize McCarthyism use a phrase that would be echoed almost exactly by a "President" of the US.
Okay, I'm done rambling now, I return you to your regularly scheduled Friday shenanigans.
