My uncle and I were just talking about it but we are kind of afraid to try it because it might be too rich...anyone try it, is it any good?

1. My friend went to a Starbucks and got a free sample. |
|
Said it was too rich and thick, then got a medium coffee and poured it in. Said it was good that way.
I haven't tried it yet.

2. No, but my girlfriend REALLY wants to try it |
|
Some time to make a New Year's resolution to cut down on Starbucks to $30 bucks a year. That translates into one visit a month of course. Poor girlfriend... Meanwhile, she likes cookie dough.

3. Speaking of Starbucks...... |
|
Everytime I go there and order coffee, I am asked if I would like room for cream. And my answer always is "Yes". However after I open the lid at the milk counter there is barely room for a couple of teaspoons of milk. And if I am not bitchin, someone around me is usually. Why can't they get this right???
BTW I know Starbucks treats their employees right and I do enjoy their coffee there are ofcourse much bigger problems to worry about.....

I would consult your attorney if I were you.
Preferably a Samoan one.

Had a free drink coupon and that's what I got. If I had paid the $2.65 I would have been pissed by the tiny little cup it came in. But you can't drink more of the "Chantico" than what they give you. It's very very rich. Their PR release described it as a liquid truffle, and for texture that's about right. I felt like I had eaten a whole candy bar. The taste is probably what you would get if you made hot chocolate with a lot of Dutch cocoa.
I would have liked it better with some Khalua mixed in. :)

9. As an employee, I love it |
|
why? because I can get it for free. But too much will make you wanna barf (trust me on this one). Ask for a sample, just to try it - they have to give you one.

Yes, it is dairy-only and there is no option to make it soy because it's steamed directly from the pitcher - we don't add anything. As for calories - well check out these stats from the website - www.starbucks.com - it's not a diet drink to say the least, but it's small so it can be a good little treat:
Serving Size 6 fl. oz. Amt Per Serving Calories 390 Fat Calories 190 Total Fat (g) 21 Saturated Fat (g) 10 Cholesterol (mg) 25 Sodium (mg) 105 Total Carbohydrates (g) 51 Fiber (g) 6 Sugars (g) 40

We split it and that was perfect. Very rich--I don't know if I would have enjoyed it as much if I tried to drink the whole thing.

13. It's a powdered concoction LOADED with fat and calories, so the EMPLOYEES |
|
say. They don't care for it, and are finding customers aren't repeating at all.
It's just really thick powdered hot chocolate.
It sounds like a white man's version of genuine mexican hot chocolate which is made like a thin chocolate custard (with egg) with a touch of cayenne.
