Thousands of Wal-Marts discovered on Saturn's moon, Titan!

European Scientists were shocked and amazed to discover great cities on the surface of Titan, one of Saturn's many moons. These cities are apparently made up entirely of Wal-Mart's and Sam's Clubs as far as the Space Probes camera can see, through the thick, frozen methane atmosphere of Titan.

"We see the evidence of life on Titan, but we cannot detect any actual living beings anywhere on the tortured surface of Titan", said one of the top space team scientists. "It's like a ghost world of abandoned cities, only the shell of a once great culture, empty, decaying Wal-Marts on every horizon"

Some scientists surmise that the rampant building of Wal-Marts and Sam's Clubs took on cult overtones, similar to the builders of the pyramids in ancient Egypt. Wal-Marts were places of worship and sacrifice and probably played a large role in the total decimation of the long extinct race of Titans.

"We can rest assured that this scenario will never happen on our planet Earth", offered another scientist on the team, "What with Target and Kmart to keep them reigned in"

2. What's really sad is that

when archaeologists of the future dig for the relics of our civilization they ARE going to unearth golden arches, vests of wal-mart greeters, yellow hummers, playstations, "as seen on tv" merchandise, etc., and conclude that we had no meaningful culture and left behind nothing but a pile of crap.

5. I disagree

I think the snapshot of our civilization is the incredible about of resources and space devoted to the car. Highways, garages, parking lots, streets, dealerships, parts stores, gas stations, sprawl, monumental (as in monument) interchages, large armies to protect the flow of oil, decades of conflict, ect ...

I believe future archeologists will conclude we must have worshipped the automobile.
