I just watched the first episode of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA... kicked ass

1. My verdict's still out. Besides, with new Blake's 7 and Dr Who coming,

there are two more chances for something decent to be made. and B7 and DW have something in common: They're British. They know how to do intelligent sci-fi. Usually, but more often than the US, which is so steeped in petty effects than characterization and plot and shoved to the side. (Now you try sitting through Star Wars ep 2 and tell me otherwise!)

in the role as president is pretty good. I also liked her as First Lady in Independence Day

10. I tried watching it. Too depressing. I loved the first edition. The second

edition didn't have much science fiction in it. The third edition I missed and #4 just doesn't have the sizzle #1 did.
