Is this strange?

I have two senior dogs 16 yr old female and a 17 year old male. The male is always cleaning my female just like a mother cat. I don't have cat. Is this unusual? Doesn't the female usually take care of the male or other dogs? Of course my female thinks she is the princes of the canine world.

thought there was something wrong with my male. He just thoroughly cleans her just like a mother cat, my female just sits there like this is expected. Animals are so much fun to watch.

this is obviously sexual assault, and by just sitting there and watching, you're an enabler.
