It sounds like Arnold's gonna win.
These past couple of years have been so difficult. The Republicans are taking over everywhere. We're losing our democracy, and on top of that, and more generally, it just seems as if our culture has become so polarized and ignorant. Our politicians (with a few exceptions) are either money-grubbing, warmongering liars or nutless wonders. The media are a bunch of whores. We've got wars, literal and metaphorical, going on all over the place, and there's no end to the conflicts in sight.
I'd had some hope since Uraniumgate, but Arnold winning I think is going to kill me.
I think the one thing that would help is hearing from you guys. Are you all feeling as disheartened as I am?

It just seems like so much has been stacked against our side, what with the media giving him a free ride, and all of these talk show nattering heads giving him free publicity. I hope we're all wrong and that the outcome next week is different. I like to hang onto a shred of hope that all of the good folks (both here on DU and elsewhere) who are working to defeat the recall will be triumphant.

And I heard the ratings have gone up (particularly with 18-34 white males).
I've never hated being an 18-34 white male so much.
