buuzzzz. wrong answer. There are measures of verbal ability. There are performance ability measures. There are also measures of working memory, a strong indicator of imtelligence. Verbal encoding was required in much of the earlier IQ testing but has largely been factored out in the last say 20 years.

i was searching for Hawking's IQ on google and came across this article in the Weekly Standard which basically claims that being dumb is OK for a president!

Ummm, do you realize how incredibly contradictory that statment is? Apparently Mr. Engel (the author) isn't exactly the brightest bulb on the tree himself.

Another juicy one:
"By contrast, a case can be made that President Bush's strength as president derives from his lack of sophistication. There are no pixels in his worldview, only solid colors--particularly black and white. "

You are actually claiming that Bush is a good president because he's stupid?!?! And you then claim that seeing the world in black and white is a good thing?!?!

5. I voted for Hawking

but I believe it is Geena Davis. The reason i voted for Hawking is that I have a high IQ and frankly it's not a really good measure of intelligence. I don't think that I am nearly as intelligent as my IQ would indicate, and having read many of Hawkings pieces i would say he is probably the single most intelligent person I know about.

Geena Davis has an IQ of 140
James Woods Alleged to have an IQ of 180. He scored a perfect 800 on his verbal SATs and a 779 on the math section.
I don't know Stephen Hawking's, Bill Gates, or Paul Allen's IQ.

So based on this I say Sharon Stone or James Woods if that is an accurate IQ.
