PlEEEEEase.... I need help locating a book....

I have done all kinds of searches but I can't get a recognizable hit
I am hoping that I have a few ghost story enthusiasts here....
At a coffee house in Richmond I read (briefly) a book that was an anthology of ghost stories that were written by contemporary people who do not ordinarily write horror... I thought "I'll remember this I don't have to write it down" but four hours and two bottles of wine later... gone.
I already called the coffee shop the kid said she remembered the book but when she went to look for me it was gone... someone probably stole it.

or EAP mystery books? Any recollection of one of the stories in the book? How recent?

Is that the one you are looking for? It was written by a bunch of people who sent their stories in to a magazine and then they made a book out of the stories.

Maybe it was a literary journal, not a book per se.

McSweeney's has a couple 'amazing tales' issues with adventure/horror stories written by all kinds of writers. Do you remember what the cover looked like?
