I have some advice for the female DUers. Marry a librul. Liberal males, when you can find them, are worth their weight in gold. I actually stumbled upon my Dennis Kucinich on steroids guy, but man, after twenty years, I am ONE HAPPY CAMPER. He cooks, he listens, he emotes, he shares, he, well, you get the idea.

This advice will work equally well for gays of either sex, or for straight males. Just adjust accordingly.:P

Overall, I would have to say I wouldn't want a man who wasn't progressive politically, but it's not the only criteria or nor would it guarantee that it will be a good and happy relationship over time. It's just a part of things.

Really. My Grandmother is 99. SHE's not interested in dating, but many of her neighbors in her retirement home are. She's always full of gossip about them. Also, I work with many women in their sixties who are single and dating. One of my best friends just married a man she met through an internet dating service, and she's sixty two!
