Gearing up to bomb the hell out of Qumar, and Republicans are using their temporary control of the Presidency to make a bigger power grab on many issues unrelated to the war on terrorism.

with a threat demanding that all American troops be removed from Qumar within 24 hours or they'll shoot her.

5. BIG TIME SPOILER HERE

The FBI raided a house and found Zoe Bartlett alive, drugged and locked in a closet in a back bedroom of a house (somewhere in the US).

Crisis over, Jeb Bartlett gets his job as President back.

7. Ahhh....good episode!

It was a great show. I can sense Sorkin's absence, but I can't define it. The last ten minutes were a complete shcok to me.

they assassinated a leader from Kumar...and then bombed the hell out of it....and Zoe was never there.

And in the end...Bartlett is again talking about weapons systems to 'keep everyone safe.'

9. Report from Philly: Coincidence -- or Sabotage?

I'm a customer of Comcast Bensalem (suburban Philly).

Exactly at the point where WW built up to the climax (al-Jazeera showing a photo of ZB), the sound cut out and was replaced by the soundtrack to a teen melodrama, which continued to a few minutes after ten.

It was a cliffhanger to a top-rated TV show that was started last May, and it was interrupted right before the story arc was resolved.

Here's the kicker:

The sound feed was from FOX-29 in Philadelphia.

So the climax and denouement of the most popular liberal TV show was futzed by the feed from the major conservative network.

My hunch is that some wiseass right-winger on second shift at Comcast bled the feed in to "make the Libbruls go ballistic".

Anyone have the URL for the website of the Pennsylvania Public Utilities Commission? I think a few thousand complaints have to be filed.

11. I told my son

that Bartlett would be back in office before the end of the hour.

I didn't, however, think they'd find Zoey before the end of the show.

I'm hoping Zoey and Charlie get back together.

There is going to be a mess for Bartlett to clean up.

Anyone else think they should nominate a woman for VP? (although it looks like the previews indicate William Devane as Secretary of State will get the nod).
