29. Somewhat to my surprise, I'm a Mod. I WAS a Mod, early on,

but soon morphed into a Folkie/ Hippie before anyone ever used the word hippie.

AHA! By changing ONE answer, I officially became a Hippie! They think a colorful beaded necklace is Hippie while a brown velvet Edwardian coat is Mod. Hmm. . . did these people personally experience the Sixties? One of my favorite dresses was a burgundy velvet I got at the Salvation Army for $1 or less.

34. One that grew up

All the sixties nonsense was a waste of time. The revolution, hippies, drugs, free love, weird eastern religious practices. I could go on.

Most of it had a greater negative effect on society that better.

The power structure is still the same, the people still have a muted voice.

The ONLY decent things to resulting from the sixties was the music and the civil rights movement, which isn't really attributed to the hippie movement.

The end of Nam was an early seventies event, but was the cumulation of what was happening in the last sixties, so that should count.
