Another "cat related" death anniversary this month

October 13th will be Ginger's 15 year anniversary of "crossing the Rainbow Bridge" due to unrecognized hyperthyroid syndrome and secondary chronic kidney failure.


I bet were she young and alive now, she would have had Johnny Asscrotch, oops I meant Ashcroft, give new meaning to the term "running :scared:, for she was one of those "unnatural, "Devil's spawn,"" CALICOES.

1. Sorry for your loss - it never stops hurting, does it?

Our cat Fergus died on August 29th at the age of 19 from hyperthyroidism and chronic renal failure. I still can't believe he's gone! Maybe he's running and playing with Ginger at the Rainbow Bridge. Take care.

I also went on to come to terms with her passing, but her death was the hardest of the deaths of the 2 cats to take, go figure, possibly because it was my first experience with death and pet death period though at the time we both were 17 and seventeen was fairly old for a cat.
