Stupidest new reality show

"Who gets the dog?" on Animal Planet. Three families compete for the chance to adopt the same dog. They go through competitions such as trying to make the dog sing and trying to get him to wait before going to his food bowl. Yes, I did just watch it, because Animal Planet is my default channel. I will probably not try it again though. :(

9. Animal Planet could be such a good channel, but they're falling into the

"lowbrow" trap, with all the alligator fighting and now a reality show. It's too bad, 'cause there is so much excellent programming that can be done about animals.

The idea of just having a competition to give away a dog strikes me as very bad. People can be desperate to get on T.V., and the chance of unsuitable people winning would seem to be high. Very dodgy.

this program before it was aired. In their opinion, it was not fair to the dog to be shuffled off to family after family. And I agree.

Why should people have to fight over the same dog? Just go to your local Humane Society asnd adopt one. That's what we did, and our dog is the greatest dog in the world!
