Which city is more the Democrat city? Boston or NYC?

Poll question: Which city is more the Democrat city? Boston or NYC?

All my NY friends tell me NYC is THE Democrat city. More Democrats there than anywhere else in the country, longstanding Dem tradition etc...

Not to be outdone, my Boston friends say the same about their city - with all the Universities it's more Democrat....etc.

So, being from California and not having a clue, which is more of a Democrat city?

6. NYC now on its second repuke mayor in a row

I know, he's a RINO and yada yada -- but would the Sept. repukefest even have been there with a Dem mayor, let alone turned into a mini-police state?

And when was the last time Boston had a repuke mayor? I'm guessing some time before James Michael Curley...

Edit: oh, duh, the repukes held their coronation in Sept. so they could score cheap 9/11 points. Figures.

7. I read an article after the election in the NY Times

saying that Kerry won 82 percent of the vote in NYC or it may just have been in Manhattan. Don't quite remember, but it was an impressive number.

13. NY state

I'm not sure about the cities but Mass is a more democratic state than NY. Most counties in NY state are repukes. 60 minutes to the north of NYC you're in a red Dutchess County. 60 minutes to the northwest is repuke Orange County.
