Note that the guy on this website typed everything as it was on the survey sheet. This is why the Beatles is spelled with two Ts. I Want to Hold Your Hand went to number one in two weeks and judging by the number one this week maybe the Beatles didn't have as big of feat as I thought.

2. Interesting List...

As much as I loved The Beatles...I listened to a Lot of AM radio before The Beatles hit the charts. I often wonder which direction American rock 'n' roll would have taken without them.

4. Thought Provoking

about music direction without the Beatles. I would have to borrow George Bailey's angel to see that since the Beatles had such an effect on rock music.

Remember too that Motown was just catching fire and primed to be a force at this time.

5. Exactly right! And I was a huge Motown fan from early on...

...and was listening to Ray Charles and some of the Jazz instrumentals.
