moment to review the forums BEFORE they post. It is particularly bad in LBN and GD. Hopefully the new rules, if adopted, will cut this down in GD. Rules are already in place in LBN, but they are routinely ignored.

I hate seeing valuable bandwidth, and my time, taken up with dupe posts. I mean, how many goddamn times do we need to see the headline about Rush being dumped by ESPN, or Arnold's latest scandal, andhow many threads are neededto discuss it? Have some respect for your fellow members here, especially those with dial-up connections, and review the forums before you post! (rant over, thank you)

to review every single posting in every single forum. It would be worth it to have the feature the above posters were talking about, to let you know, when you post a topic, if it's already been covered.

I got flamed nonstop (even death threats) because someone else posted the same story. The other guy posted it between the time I checked and the time I finished typing. Rather than blindly flaming people, maybe you should check the facts. There might not have been another post on the same topic before they started.
