I can understand winds with storms, but gusty to 30 mph with no storm is unnerving. Howler.

I am in Kansas and find it hard to believe you guys never get this! Are you in the Ozarks and perhaps more protected than on the prairie? I just got home from my farm and it is blowing so hard I could hardly stand up when walking against it. WhoooHoooo, it is 20 degrees and we have little stingy snow flurries moving through. Apparently the wind is here for the day so don't be too unnerved.

5. Nope. I'm nestled in the hills |

Oh we get wind sometimes. Like in March. Or with storms.
I can't keep my furnace lit. The wind keeps blowing out the pilot.
Hi Kansas neighbor. You in the flatland like Oklahoma.

I occasionally find myself pulling a 30 foot horse trailer, empty or full I don't care to do it in the wind.
