Today in Detroit we've gotten 10 inches of snow (so far - it's still coming down). I went outside to shovel it to find that the gay neighbor two doors down had not only plowed my sidewalk, but was working on the apron of my driveway!

I mean, who did he think he was? Trespassing on my property, moving MY snow around without my permission. The nerve of some people. You can be sure my STRAIGHT neighbors wouldn't have violated the sanctity of my property rights that way. I suppose now I'll have to say "thank you" and get all friendly with them. That's how they operate you know....All friendly and stuff just to try and get you to like them. Next thing you know they'll want "rights" and stuff!

The Repubs are right: those people have no respect for my values.

We've already had several "snow shoveling" related deaths in Michigan so far this year, consisting mostly of the 70+ year old crowd.

I'm only 41, but I only have a shovel, and my neighbor has an industrial strength snow blower. When he asked (after doing my apron) if he could do the part of my driveway behind my car, I just smiled and said, "Hey, don't let ME stop you!"
