We got one of those gigantic buckets o' corn for the holidays. I had a handful of the stuff and that's all that's gone. It's sorta stale right now and we don't really like popcorn anyway. Any creative ideas? I feel bad throwing any food out, let alone such a large quantity.

5. If you keep it in a cold place........... |
|
........ and it doesn't turn rancid, it makes great packing material.
Somebody told me that it's good birdfood, but someone else told me it draws out all sorts of other undesirables, like rats.

ginbarn says: Spread it on the floor and waller around in it.
derby378 says: Use whatever you don't eat as biodegradable packing material. For your next Priority Mail box, for example.

7. throw it to the birds over a period of time, not all at once. |
|
See if they go after a few handfuls in a few hours. If not, don't leave it out overnight.

If you have a mill to grind it (I have one). Anytime I need cornmeal I run some popcorn through it. Of course, if it is coated with stuff then you gotta get creative. Have a movie party and invite all your friends over with a big appetite.

that has marking on it that look like the face of Jesus or Mary, then put it up for sale on ebay and make a million bucks. (throw in the rest of the can of popcorn as an extra prize to the winning bidder.)
