Please, allow me a small rant. The people who are calling for compassion for Rush are good people, I'm sure. But I am really freakin' tired of hearing about it.

I am not happy that Rushbo is addicted to drugs. I am practically dancing a jig that he is finally being exposed for the hypocrite that he is. I don't think it would be unfair to call me gleeful. This has been the best week to be a Democrat in a really long time, and I'M ENJOYING IT!

So if you think I'm no better than the Freepers and that we should stay on the high moral ground, good for you, but I don't want to hear about it anymore.

I took listening to him as long as I could. The Pilodinal Cyst is his same old self. He laughs at those on DU who would provide "sympathy." Just as he always has. This guy is evil, folks; ask yourselves, what would he do if a Dem was in a similar situation? Sympathy? Forgiving? He reserves that for himself. Wake up. And I'm glad you feel better; I don't, yet, because I see the right-wing backlash coming - and the sympathizers will be the first to be (hopefully only rhetorically) crushed.

Getting hooked on pills is the least of the horrors I wish on folks like Rush and his ilk. Fuck 'em. They're ugly people with ugly ways and they deserve to have ugly things happen to them. There are too many other people in the world far more deserving of compassion, pity, etc. I know that sound terrible but that is honestly how I feel and the last three years have done nothing but hone those feelings.

I can easily feel many conflicting emotions on the issue.

On a human level, I do feel for him.

Malloy was right last night. That Anal Cyst has never been compassionate toward any Dem with a substance abuse problem. He has done nothing but try and personally profit off the misery of others, making a living spewing hatred.

I can't feel sorry for him and his addiction, especially since I would bet money that this hypocrit will blame someone else for his problems.
