Limitations of the analog technology at the time. There are soooo many things. Like not being able to hear the drums... *hiss* Our next CD this summer will be recorded digitally (yaaaay!)

Are there production or party rental houses in your town? If so, it should cost much less than 50 per day.

8. it's for a dream sequence

part of another student's film project. But we were thinking of buying one since we have at least one other film we're doing with a graveyard/spooky scene in it.

I know it sounds corny and it's not as dazzling as pyrotechnics, but you'd also be amazed at how people respond to a smoke machine at a party!
