They were definitely one of the first true punk bands.
They were also better than Nirvana, Green Day AND Offspring too. :)

We had an assistant coach who was a real asshole -- always showing us who was in charge. We were running laps around the track and a couple of us were singing "Drugs in my Pocket." He yells, "I don't want to hear anything about drugs...knock it off." Of course we kept singing and he ended up making us run two miles after practice.
