Help me out with a response to an A-hole, please....

This guy grates on my nerves...he sends me this shite knowing that I will be offended. Of course, this test could easily be re-done and you could replace the Muslim male bit with "white male or "white American male."

I am coming up with a few on my own (the Oklahama City bombing for one), but I'm hoping for your help so I can respond quickly. Thanks!

I think it's not that black or white.

The thrust of this is about justifying profiling which I don't entirely agree with. I think some intelligent profiling could be in order in some cases but we're not technologically or ethically ready to undertake that unless we agree to do it in a very principled and rational way.

There really is a problem with religious extremism, and it is unfortunate that muslim extremism gets more airplay than say, jewish extremism (anyone remember who killed Rabin? Jewish male extremist between the age of 17 and 40) or who brought down the Federal Building in Oklahoma? (Christian Male Extremist). And let's face it - Sharon's entire policies are extremist and outdo that list in its entirety every single year.

To be fair, geographically, economically and geopolitically, christian and jewish extremism is much less prevalent than islamic extremism, but the author's repetitive sniping makes sure that anything associated with the word "muslim" is always followed by extremist. His case for profiling is based on cultural baiting and not worth giving a second thought to.
