I did. And it's the first time I haven't done it on the afternoon of April 15th. I'm wondering, are refunds processed faster if you file them before the rush?

and they're supposed to be even faster if you file electronically.

2. We're still waiting for our w-2's to arrive in the mail.

We'll be doing them early so we can get the FAFSA done.

3. Nope. Haven't received my W-2 yet.

My company likes to wait until 11:59 PM on the 31st to give them out.

and I'm not optimistic that I'll get my refunds again.

5. We haven't receive the 1040's yet.

They usually arrive the first part of January but no sign of em. We are still at the same address, nothing has changed for several years. Don't have any idea what happened to them.

9. W-2s and 1098 (mortgage interest. deductions) & 1099s haven't come out!

All kinds of statements from your bank, etc. with deductions you may be able to take don't come out until after Jan. 31st (the deadline for those to be mailed to you).
