Turn this on!

has anyone else been watching this series? I haven't been able to watch all of it, but I want to see it on repeat.

I'm loving it... so fun to learn about the history of music and hear all these great musicians.

2. Have you ever read Land Where Blues Began?
or Chasin' That Devil Music?

HoneyBoy Edwards was just in my town last week.

Have you ever caught any of the Fat Possum tours for the classic delta blues players?

They come through here, too.

4. Thought that was Tom Jones wish they would say who these guys are
it's really annoying. I guess they figure that if you don't know just from looking at them, you don't need to know.

6. yeah, Tom Jones back to the roots.
Jeff Beck is playing electric guitar.

Eric Clapton...you recognize him? He's one of the guys talking, wearing a gray shirt.

Peter Green, of Fleetwood Mac, was when that band started. Early on, they were blues...English blues by way of American black musicians.

Van Morrison is heavy set, wearing a hat, talks sort of closed mouthed, which is strange, compared to the way he sings.

...this segment is about England and how the blues influenced them.

does that help any?

7. they'll probably show last night's show after this one
or they have been. last night was Jimmy Hendrix, which is what I remember the most...his Blues cd is one of my favorites.

I forget who else was on right now, but it's hard to think about that, type, and listen to the music.
