I just saw 'Million Dollar Baby' - OMG, awesome movie!!!

they say it's "opening wide" real soon (this weekend, I do believe)

it it's anything like 'Mystic River' last year, it won't be at every single theatre in the country, but it will be at some theater relatively close to you (not necessarily the closest one)

you might have to drive an extra half-hour or, even forty-five minutes depending on where you are (unless it's in the styx) to get to it, but it is well worth it. I saw it at the Anjelika in NYC on New Year's Day. Trust me, it's real good.

We did go see the Aviator, and thought it was fantastic! What do you make of the 'Best Actress' race for Oscar? Again, Hillary Swank is pitted against Annette Bening. Last time, H.S. was nominated for 'Boys don't cry' (and won), and A.B was nominated for 'American Beauty'. They were saying that this was A.B.'s best shot at winning, until H.S. came in with her performance in MD Baby. Do you think Hillary Swank will win again?

8. She will win. I think it was the best performance I have seen

in.... I don't know how long. She WAS Maggie Fitzpatrick. There are a few scenes where you can so clearly see that she is a far surerior actor than Eastwood.

Go see it.
