I'm deeply patriotic and care about our reputation in the world as a nation.

I'm very much against the notion that we can treat certain people in our society differently because of ... well, because of anything.

I despise the notion of a 'privileged class'.

I'm very much for equal opportunity, and I believe government can make equal opportunity a reality.

I strongly favor a separation of church and state.

I believe the rich have an obligation to help the poor succeed.

I am passionate about making the world a better place for my daughters and my son on the way.

I'm afraid I'm a leftist only by environment, not genetics. My dad and brother are both reichwingnuts, and my mother is a moderate republican (although a Kerry voter this go-round, as she don't drink Koolaid).

13. Why are we alive?

14. We are alive because...

...long time ago there was nothing alive. Then a mystical soup of primordial ingredients was struck by lightning, and the electricity morphed a random, two-strand chemical composite into such a bizarre configuration that it actually began to replicate.

This particular two-strand composite was subject to mutation from radiation from the sun, and over time various varieties of these mutated, self-replicating strands developed. The varieties capable of sustaining themselves and continuously replicating survived, while those incapable of it perished. This began the process of evolution.

In time billions of varieties of these "organisms" existed. Some of them evolved into quite complex beings with intelligence.

Then God came along and said, "what is this shit?" He wiped it all out and rebuilt the universe in six days, resting on the seventh.
