Also that car will last a long time in Tecas..usually the only Honda problem is rust - even then they have made advancements. But Hondas are well built and a good buy anytime!

On edit..oops you're in Florida not Texas!

This should be posted in the Environment section.

Using public transport and buying (well-running) used cars is a good way to help the environment. If people went that long without buying a new car (which is environmentally costly to make) it would be a huge leg-up.

6. Maybe a huge leg up on the environment but
Not buying new cars would be fatal to the already struggling economy.

4. Excellent purchase. Hondas are consistently among the most reliable...
cars on the road, per Consumer Reports and a host of other publications. It is durable, safe, and goes easy on the gas. You should get many, many good years of excellent performance out of your Civic.

Happy motoring!

5. If you was a republican
Mom and dad would have bought you a top of the line $100,000 car before you was out of high school. Looks like you picked the wrong political party. ;-)

8. I bought my one and only new car
also a Civic, 8 years ago. It has needed only one repair (to the air contitioner) in all that time. I plan to drive it until the wheels fall off.

When I used to work on the far side of the city, I filled it up with gas twice a month. Can't beat that with a stick.

I love my little zipmobile. Congrats and enjoy!

Toyota Tercel. 155,547 miles, still running like a top. Never spent the night at the shop...

Congratulations on an excellent choice.

10. Congratulations
Congratulations and excellent choice. My Accura got 217,000 miles so yours will last a long time if you take care of it. I just had to get rid of it and purchased a Toyota Tacoma 4x4. I felt proud because I have finally learned how to work the car dealers and got a great price. I compromised my principles with the gas milage some but I need something that can do some hauling and go off road.

12. New Car Purchase
I think you are subtly helping the Bush economic recovery. Now he will get credit for this.
