1. Vanity Bands TOTALLY SUCK
because every gig they get takes away a jobs and music resources from real musicians playing real tunes. Every album they cut takes away from real music somewhere.

I don't know about Crowe's outfit, but at least Keanu plays bass in Dogstar--instead of the totally predictable singing bit.

Having said that I'm going with choice 3! ;)
