I cannot believe concert tickets are so expensive. |

Ticket is $50 without additional charges and about $70 with them. I cannot afford that. It really pisses me off.

1. My first concert, the seats were 8.50 and 10.50. |
|
We bought tickets right at the box office. No "convenience" fees or special taxes.

2. I just paid $75.00 for Eagle Tickets |
|
and that was for the "medium" priced tickets, better seats go up to $140.00 - that's just crazy! I must be getting old, I remember when tickets were like $18.00 to $25.00

3. I remember paying less than two bucks for concert tickets... |
|
Mink Deville, Rockpile(Nick Lowe and Dave Edmunds), and Elvis Costello and the Attractions. $1.95.
There are very few acts today that are worth more than $35.00.

4. The last time the Stones |
|
came through here it was $200.00 to get anywhere close to the stage. We paid a lot less but it was still very expensive. Our seats we up fairly high but right above the stage so we could see very well but still, it is too expensive to go to very many concerts.

I know you're talking about U2...aren't you?
And that is fucking expensive, but they know people will pay it.

Your avatar rather implies Pink Floyd (if memory serves me).
With opera $70 is dirt cheap, you can easily get up to £150 ($300) in London.
