1. The Reagan library in Simi Valley...

It was right after he died. They have shrubs in the shape of elephants. It's weird.

Apparently, his library is in Ann Arbor. Never been though I grew up right there.

Hyde Park is the home of FDR museum and home. Interesting place to visit. Talk about mother in law problems!

7. LBJ Library

Born & raised in Austin, so we had the inevitable field trips to see it. Plus, as a UT student, it's right there on campus. But, that's the only one, and I visited due to sheer proximity.

8. I've been to the JFK...

library about 10 years ago...we are talking about taking a trip up to Boston this summer and hopefully catch a game at Fenway, and you better believe that I'm not leaving that city without visiting again

9. JFK and Hoover

JFK's, obviously, was more exciting than Hoover's. I'd really like to get to FDR's, Truman's, and LBJ's soon.

is an amazing place.

It's the only one I've been to, and I could have stayed all day and all night. I was in Boston in '88 for a job interview, and had an extra day before I had to fly back to Cleveland. I was able to spend it there. One of the first things I saw was one of the original "No Irish Need Apply" signs that hung all over Boston in the 19th century, and that was likely one of the first things JFK's grandparents saw when they arrived in the city. I'd love to go back someday.

11. The dead Reagan library

I visited before he died. My mom is a docent. Strangely, we are all democrats, my mom volunteers for something to do. Love him or hate him, Reagan was interesting. I personally think he was the second worst president we have had. King Shrubby Chimp is the first. I hear stories about the geriatric repugs that visit the site all full of love and admiration for Reagan. :puke:
