I am a very loving, understanding and intelligent woman with a lot to give the person I care for. I know he sees that, but it has to get better soon. I'm not a bottomless pit of understandingness (is that a word?) and I have needs as well.

There's a fork in his road at the moment. To take the safe path of fear or the more dimly lit, but far sweeter path that is me? You can't make someone love you if they don't, but I know that's not quite the case. I hope he doesn't let those fears alone determine his destiny. That would be far more sad than whatever personal loss I would feel.
